The Sonaisali Island Resort Fiji is situated 300 meters off the main island of Viti Levu and only twenty five minutes drive from the Nadi Airport. Access to the 105 acre, palm fringed private island is gained 24 hours per day via complimentary motor launch across a sheltered lagoon. Open in 1992 and with major additions in 1998/99, the resort is stylish in both design and execution. Native timbers, plantation shutters and Fijian architecture harmonize with modern interiors designed to please the most discerning guest.
The resort comprises 123 rooms - 15 standard hotel rooms; 17 beachfront hotel rooms, 42 ocean view bures, 46 beachfront spa bures and 3 two bedroom beachfront family bures on a 105 acre private island. All accommodation features spacious interiors, air conditioning (beachfront family bures, second bedroom only), ceiling fans, hair dryers, choice of king or queen beds, fully stocked mini bar, tea/coffee making and ironing facilities. The resort's luxurious bures have been refurbished with crisp white and stone colored soft furnishings which gives the feel and look of "today" while keeping in touch with subtle traditional Fijian tones. DVD players are a new addition in all rooms and bures with the latest movies available 24 hours.
DINING !
Treat yourself to the famous Fijian hospitality at either the poolside Pergola and Kula koffee Korner which is all-day casual or the Terrace and Deck Lounge which features informal dining. The Sonaisali also has 2 bars; the Sunset lounge and a swim-up or walk-up poolside bar.
The Five Tribes band entertains the parents in the Tale Bar at night where delicious cocktails are enjoyed overlooking the lagoon style pool and Pacific Ocean with dancing till midnight. The Plantation fine dining restaurant is another highlight for parents to enjoy in air-conditioned comfort in a romantic setting with 5 star food, wine and service.

WEDDINGS !
Weddings are staged on beachfront at sunset or any other time or preferred location on the island. The bride arrives by a longboat decorated with palm leaves and flowers to be carried ashore upon the shoulders of her Fijian warrior escort. Price includes traditional Fijian tapa wedding costume for both bride and groom if required.
HONEYMOON PACKAGE !
Honeymooners receive a free bottle of sparkling wine and fruit basket upon check in - minimum 3 night stay required.
CONFERENCES !
The resort offers conference facilities which can easily cater for up to 80 people and is equipped with full audio-visual equipment. Smaller meetings can be held in one of the traditional Fijian bures. Daytime drinks and snacks or sunset cocktails complete with canapés can be arranged at poolside, beach or on the veranda of the bure.
REFURBISHMENT OF TWO BEDROOM BURES !
The refurbishment features local materials which have been creatively transformed and placed on newly painted white and stone colored walls to add a traditional feel. Newly varnished wooden floors are perfect to walk on in bare feet. New Sony Bravia flat screen TV's have been installed into the lounge area for families to enjoy. The new lounge chairs, complete with stools on the balcony are designed for utmost comfort and style. These Viro - Mocca cream chairs are placed on the balcony overseeing the ocean. Just perfect to grab a glass of wine or two and watch the best sunsets in the world and experience the cooling Pacific ocean breeze.

SURFING !
Sonaisali island Resort is offering surf tours to Namotu, Wilks Passage and Cloud Break. Surfers have the opportunity to rent boards or take your own to experience some of the best waves in the world.
Surf tours are available from the resort 7 days per week (weather permitting) both morning and afternoon. Tour includes Surf Guide, lifeguard, water and snacks - minimum 2 pax/maximum 4 pax. Short and long board hire available.
Surf School option includes instructors, boards and equipment. Max 3 pax. Beginners course at beautiful Natadola Beach is on application.

SONAISALI KID'S CLUB !
Mereoni Koroitamana, otherwise known as "Macaroni" by Sonaisali Kids is one of the children's hostesses at the resort's Kids Club. Voted by her peers as Employee of the year in 2005, Mereoni is an extremely popular team member of the Kids Club.
The Kids Club is free and available 7 days a week from 09:30 - 21:30 for children between 4 - 12 years of age. Mereoni and her team entertain up to 30 children at one time and a child minding service is also available at F$ first two hours and F$ per hour thereafter.
The Club offers a huge range of activities such as face painting, crafts, games, sandcastle building competitions, shell collecting, snorkeling lessons, beach soccer, tennis, movies and of course the largest pool in Fiji. Unusual events such as crab catching, coconut shot-put, egg throwing competitions, Hit the Watermelon competitions and lots more take place on a daily basis.
Kids receive a free Sonaisali tee shirt as a gift from the resort to wear during their stay and to take home as a souvenir and reminder of their holiday. "Macaroni" is sadly missed by the kids once they return home. Kids eat together at meal times and are totally entertained all day and night. Parents are comfortable knowing their precious ones are in good hands and having fun.
ACTIVITIES !
There are activities for any traveler at the Sonaisali: swimming pool, tennis court, volleyball, fish feeding, hobie cat sailing, water scooters, paddle boats, windsurfing, canoeing, water skiing, coconut tree climbing, Fijian story telling, fishing and sports fishing, horse riding, Padi scuba diving and snorkeling trips. For guests who wish to discover Fiji's joyful and fascinating culture, a river cruise by launch to visit a traditional Fijian village is highly recommended. The resort features the traditional "Meke", a celebration of song, dance and chants, and the "Lovo" feast (from an underground oven) once a week.
