YASAWA ISLAND RESORT & SPA! |
Yasawa Island Resort and Spa is an exclusive retreat on one of the most remote and unspoiled islands of Fiji. Just 18 luxury bungalows are hidden among the palms, each just a few steps from a pristine white beach. Swim in crystal clear waters, dive on vividly colored corals, connect with an ancient culture or indulge in Fiji's first beachfront spa. Whatever you choose to do at Yasawa, you'll do it in complete seclusion.
ACCOMMODATIONS !
BURE ROOMS
Bure – it's Fijian for sanctuary. Yasawa is home to just 18 luxurious bures, each one just a few steps from the beach with a view of the ocean. Each air-conditioned bure is superbly fitted in contemporary Fijian style, with a thatched roof, plantation shutters, an expansive sun deck, an outdoor shower, a personal hammock and a private beach hut on the edge of the sands.
BURE SUITE
At Yasawa there's no such thing as a standard room. We start with six Bure Suites that set a luxurious benchmark with their modern styling, open plan and ocean views. Scattered in pairs among the palms, they share just one adjoining wall and are positioned for privacy – the only thing you'll see from inside is the beach.
DELUXE
On an island as remote as this you can have all the space you want. Yasawa's 10 Deluxe Bures are vast and free-standing, offering ocean panoramas from inside and out. A split-level design creates separate living and sleeping areas inside, while broad decks and shaded day-beds extend the living space outside.
FAMILY BURE
Perched on a rise overlooking the rest of the resort is a huge Family Bure with two separate bedrooms either side of a central living area. Its elevated outdoor deck provides magnificent views over the island and out to sea, and its name, Drodrolagi, is Fijian for rainbow.
HONEYMOON SUITE
The name says it all - Lomalagi, the Fijian word for heaven. Hidden from the rest of the resort at the end of a deserted white beach, the Honeymoon Bure Lomalagi is a private retreat with its own horizon pool overlooking the ocean. This is Yasawa at its best – absolute luxury and complete seclusion.
RESTAURANT !
Yasawa might be an island of isolation, but it's also an island of plenty. All meals are included in the tariff at Yasawa, promising contemporary cuisine at every sitting and an emphasis on the succulent seafood caught daily in surrounding waters. Lobster plucked from the nearby reefs is a specialty. Dine at the restaurant, on the beach, in your bure or beneath the stars. The choice is yours.
ACTIVITIES !
Solitude. It's our favorite pastime at Yasawa. So whatever you choose to do during your stay, you'll be free to enjoy it in peace. Take a complimentary picnic on a deserted beach. Visit nearby villages to meet the local children or hear the church choir. Swim in the crystal waters of the famous Blue Lagoon or snorkel among corals and tropical fish. Do as much or as little as you choose. All activities at Yasawa are included in the tariff (except spa treatments, scuba diving and sportsfishing).
WEEDINGS!
Take your vows on the sands of a deserted beach, before a tropical sunset or under the southern stars. You needn't decide until you get there. Invite the choir from nearby Bukama village, choose traditional decorations and tropical flowers or summon a guard of Fijian warriors. A wedding at Yasawa is yours to command – make it as elaborate or as simple as you like.
