Papageno Resort is located on the leeward side of Kadavu Island and may be reached by daily flights from Nadi Airport to Kadavu's Vunisea Airport. Transfers by boat from Vunisea take about forty minutes. Papageno Resort works to maintain the cultural solidarity of Kadavu by preserving local traditions, land and fishing territories as well as supporting the education of the local children.

Matana Beach Resort
A friendly Fijian welcome awaits you at Matana Beach Resort which is located on the Island of Kadavu, approximately forty five minutes by air from Nadi Airport or thirty minutes from Suva. The resort is nestled in tropical gardens in an area known by local villagers as "Matana" (which in Kadavu dialect means "a sandy beach at all tides"). Matana Beach Resort is small and personal, catering for divers and non-divers alike while the coconut palms, aquamarine water and white sand make a perfect setting for swimming, snorkeling or just soaking up the sun. Kadavu has many remarkable sights and the rainforest capped hills behind the resort offer many hiking trails. The view from numerous vantage points is simply breath-taking – remember your camera!
