Transfers by boat from Vunisea take about forty minutes. The resort is nestled in tropical gardens in an area known by local villagers as "Matana" (which in Kadavu dialect means "a sandy beach at all tides"). Matana Beach Resort is small and personal, catering for divers and non-divers alike while the coconut palms, aquamarine water and white sand make a perfect setting for swimming, snorkeling or just soaking up the sun.
